We reserve the right to verify the Date of Delivery via carrier tracking information, delivery confirmation, or the original sales invoice. This Plan covers operational failure resulting from accidental damage during normal use, including:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDrops and impacts (e.g., dropping the unit while swapping optics).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCracked screens or lenses resulting from impact.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLiquid spills or submersion.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e3.2 Mechanical \u0026amp; Electrical Breakdown\u003c\/strong\u003e After the expiration of the Manufacturer’s Warranty, this Plan covers defects in materials and workmanship and failures due to power surges or internal mechanical malfunctions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 dir=\"ltr\"\u003e4. LIMIT OF LIABILITY FOR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe following provisions strictly govern the limits of liability and deductibles regarding Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4.1 Claim Frequency Limit\u003c\/strong\u003e Coverage for Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) is strictly limited to one (1) approved claim per twelve (12) month period. This period is calculated as a rolling 12-month window starting from the date of the most recent approved claim.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4.2 Deductible and Service Fees\u003c\/strong\u003e Service fees for approved ADH claims are determined based on the total number of claims filed during the lifetime of the warranty (including any renewals):\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eFirst Claim:\u003c\/strong\u003e The first approved claim shall be processed with a $0.00 USD (Zero) deductible.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eSubsequent Claims:\u003c\/strong\u003e Any subsequent claim approved after the first—regardless of when it occurs—shall be subject to a mandatory, non-refundable deductible of $249.00 USD.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3 dir=\"ltr\"\u003e5. If the device is lost or stolen, coverage does not apply.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eReckless Abuse:\u003c\/strong\u003e Damage resulting from intentional abuse, modification, or use outside of the manufacturer’s specified operating parameters.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003ePre-existing Conditions:\u003c\/strong\u003e Damage that occurred prior to the purchase of this Plan.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3 dir=\"ltr\"\u003e6. Claims and Shipping Logic\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e6.1 Filing a Claim\u003c\/strong\u003e To file a claim, You must contact SmartEye Customer Support. You may be required to provide proof of purchase and photos of the damage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e6.2 Shipping Costs\u003c\/strong\u003e Shipping coverage is determined by the claim history, aligning with the deductible structure in Section 4.2:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eFirst Return:\u003c\/strong\u003e For the first approved claim, We will provide a pre-paid shipping label covering the cost of shipping the device to our repair center and returning it to You.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eSubsequent Returns:\u003c\/strong\u003e For any subsequent claims, You are responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with sending the device to Us.
